King Dude at Saint Vitus
The King continues to be awesome. His music can be rather poetic and even gentle at times, which makes it that much more shocking when he gets to the crazy stuff like the ending of "Lucifer's The Light Of The World".

Guitar Lightnin' Lee at The Bell House
How do you know a musician is a traditionalist? They're on MySpace but not Facebook. Okay, bad joke, but clearly Mr. Lee is not all about the marketing. His pitch is simpler: come watch me play. If you have the chance, I would recommend doing so.

Spires at Death By Audio
When you pick the same band name as a British hardcore band you have to put in a little extra effort to distinguish yourself. I guess that's why Spires have been playing every gig possible. I suggest you give 'em a listen on SoundCloud, though if you live in the area you can probably just catch them live on any random weekend...

Bass Drum of Death at The Knitting Factory
I can't believe these guys weren't headlining. Ah well, they still killed it. Find them on Facebook or their own website.
