Andre Williams at Brooklyn Bowl
I chose not to post these photos originally because I was a bit disappointed by the performance. The first, or "Zoot Suit", half of the set was brillant. Unfortunately the show lost momentum going into the second, or "Lounge Jacket" half of the set. But dang, Andre Williams sure looked stylin', didn't he? These photos are just too pretty not to post.

The Sadies at Brooklyn Bowl
Wow these guys are evil. They actually started on time (9pm). Fool me once... Anyway, it was well worth catching as much of their set as possible. The Sadies' style of rock-n-roll is infused with more than just country and folk "influences", but they didn't exactly absorb the mellow parts. They play with a fury, like they are planning to live out the lyrics of those murder ballads.
